First Stop: Santa Cruz, Collyforny!
(Thanks to Mountain Woman for these tour notes.)

TDSS went to the famous Boardwalk in Santa Cruz where it strolled along the seashore and rode:

The Giant Dipper, one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the country.

Down the road, TDSS posed with Ben (a willing recruit) on the Surfer Statue.
It was 90 degrees on the coast and the sea breeze was awesome. Just up the road from there is Steamer Lane, one of the most famous surfing spots in the world. Hang Ten, DSS!

Here is TDSS on Squid Row.

Next stop was "The Mystery Spot", which is a head scratcher. As seen on TV, it's supposed to be a small area where the laws of physics and gravity don't apply. Sounds like a Mark Geragos courtroom. (See their web site at www.mysteryspot.com)

To be continued!

Hysterical!
(Oh joy, another robot)
TDSS is sure going to have a lot of fun!
Great shots! Thanks, Mountain Woman.
Perfect, Mountain Woman.
TDSS had better enjoy this trip. In the mean time, we'll all live vicariously through it!
HAHAHA!!!
We had fun and only got sideways looks from a few people. This being Santa Cruz and all, odd behavior is sort of the norm. Just another day in paradise!
Sorry for the "word verification" but this keeps the spam bots off.
It's kind of an eye test.
Go, TDSS! What fun!
