Tree Hugging with TDSS

TDSS went to Henry Cowell Redwoods Park in Felton to do some communing with nature.

Some trees in this park are estimated to be 1400 to 1800 years old. We found a nice one and gave it a big hug.

Then we found one that had been hollowed out by fire and looked to see if we could find any critters living in it. No luck, there.

Celebrating a fine day for That Damned Striped Shirt's World Tour, we toasted Ben and munched on a few tortilla chips at the local Mexican risorante. Ole!

Next stop: Oregon country!
