(Thanks to Mountain Woman for these tour notes.)
TDSS went to the famous Boardwalk in Santa Cruz where it strolled along the seashore and rode:
The Giant Dipper, one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the country.

Down the road, TDSS posed with Ben (a willing recruit) on the Surfer Statue.
It was 90 degrees on the coast and the sea breeze was awesome. Just up the road from there is Steamer Lane, one of the most famous surfing spots in the world. Hang Ten, DSS!

Here is TDSS on Squid Row.

Next stop was "The Mystery Spot", which is a head scratcher. As seen on TV, it's supposed to be a small area where the laws of physics and gravity don't apply. Sounds like a Mark Geragos courtroom. (See their web site at www.mysteryspot.com)
To be continued!
